This process involves the collection, transport, processing, and recycling or disposal (whichever is applicable) of waste materials for health, environmental, and/or aesthetic. A cradle-to-grave life cycle assessment (LCA) method is used to evaluate the environmental impacts associated with natural gas vehicles (NGVs). Production, operation, maintenance, and disposal stages of the light-duty (passenger cars) and heavy-duty vehicles are considered in the analysis.
